Comparing .ca Domain Pricing at a few Registries

Today I thought I would take a look at a .ca Domain Registrations at a few popular companies. 

Rather than looking at the home page, I followed through to actually buy the domains. What I found was that in some cases the advertised price came with caveats. And even then, the deal was not as great as it seemed at first. Other sites reveal a very expensive domain that comes with no unique added services. What I did notice though, is that fewer and fewer registries are hiding that sticker shock, but one or two can't seem to resist the tactic. Take a look:
